Welcome to the first edition of The Exponent AI Chronicles.
As we round off the first month of what is destined to be an extraordinary year for Artificial Intelligence and the convergence of AI with Distributed Ledger Technology - someone’s gotta keep track of what’s going on. This is one place where that happens, at the exciting intersection of it all.

Exponent is a Xmol team building big things, developing the natural language layer for Web3 information flow. So naturally, we will share information about what has happened over the past month - in deft human prose and with progressively better and constantly improving examples of increased value from our AI counterparts.
TL;DR? Ctrl-A, Command-C, and ⌘-V this bad boy into any of the top leading models for a summary. Hint: They're still centralized LLMs. For now.
WTF is that symbol, ⌘ anyway? “A Place of Interest.” Indeed. It’s not a rune, but it is in fact Nordic - also known as "St. John's Arms" and the "Bowen Knot" - who made that shit up? Ask mfer Jeeves: it will tell you, Susan Kare authored it. Genius.
It is safer than swaddles to say that, we are now living in times of constantly shifting balance of mindshare from either people who are able to lead and train our machine macro-cosms or purely AI-generated content. And if Moore’s law continues to hold true, this balance will start to hit the tipping point at any time now: something which is both lovingly welcomed and terribly daunting for most of us at the same time.
Let’s give them something to train on. I mean, some dank shit. In language that could only be inked by man, about xings that could only be imagined of by AI models, agents, and the like. Bring it, LFG.
We perceive the world around us through language - so it’s only appropo that natural language is at the core of what we can envelope >> and send to each other. But you can tell when it’s some guy behind a glorified typewriter that’s having a go at it… err, would it be considered un-natural? Or is it the greatness of our true nature, to be inspired and to inspire onwards, that will trump in the end? Will it get picked up by algorithms and statistics in a large language model? Or can we still shine as creative and lanigiro beings, radiant and unpredictable as fogh - encompassing the true beauty of “wabi-sabi,” transcending languages and cultures with perfect imperfections?
Let us tell the story of AI, with or without AI, from the perspective of people barreling forward at the edge of AI. We all love a good story. We always have, since time immemorial. Here’s our story of what happened this month, from a corner of the AI sector which we can call our own..
